Tourist destinations and attractions are generally located in big cities around the world and in a central area within the city. This instillation would be ideally placed on the outside of an attraction destination such as an observation wheel (London Eye). Evening would be the ideal time for this as the display would be visible from all around the city. These structures are lit up with colorful lights at night as to draw attention to the attraction. Having an interactive experience with the lighting on one of these observation wheels would provide everyone in the area with a light show.
Possible reactions:
Many people stop and take pictures and videos of the colorful sight. A display this scale would have a similar impact on the audience as fireworks. There would be a sense of awe and amazement as the lights flow along the structure of the wheel.
Nearby the wheel there would be a railing that has a large soft potentiometer on it which would be connected to a servo that would turn based on input from the soft pot. As the servo moves, it bends a flex sensor which controls a massive set of LEDs that are on the wheel.
Needed pieces: soft potentiometer, flex sensor, servo, LEDs
