Residency Summary

Throughout the week I was exposed to various works of art that never crossed my mind as interactive. Tactile artwork from artists like Marcel Duchamp radically changed how we view and experience art by making the audience physically touch and engage with their work. The introduction of Happenings allowed for everyone to be included in the experience and actively participate in what was going on around them.

I would like to focus on creating 3D models that would be printed using a 3D printer meant for interactive experiences. This would enable me to learn more about the process of creating a tactile experience for an audience since it is not something I have experience doing. I believe creating such assets will be rewarding in the sense that I will be challenged to make a unique experience for my audience.
